Customer Feedback

“I am equally impressed with the professional and efficient manner in which you were able to maneuver the boat, clear the lines and prep the boat to in order to land this massive fish. I didn‘t even realize the work that you were doing for my benefit until we had the fish netted and in the boat. To me, that is the best advertising for your business! Showing me how well you do your job speaks louder than anyone telling me how well they can do their job. Blackfeather Charters really knows their stuff.”

92 pound Halibut

Today, we soaked our gear for the morning looking for a nice halibut. After tolerating a stiff North-West breeze and lumpy sea, we were rewarded with this beautiful 92 pound halibut.

The coho are very consistent now but the big springs are beginning to get patchy. There were some reports of decent chinook north of Dundas Island, but they are pretty hit-and-miss right now. We trolled up a nice 30 pound spring salmon two days ago, but it is mostly coho on the hook right now.
