Customer Feedback

“I am equally impressed with the professional and efficient manner in which you were able to maneuver the boat, clear the lines and prep the boat to in order to land this massive fish. I didn‘t even realize the work that you were doing for my benefit until we had the fish netted and in the boat. To me, that is the best advertising for your business! Showing me how well you do your job speaks louder than anyone telling me how well they can do their job. Blackfeather Charters really knows their stuff.”

1st salmon of the year

I went out with my buddy Gord, from Salt Air Charters, for a mid afternoon troll. The tide was right at slack water, but the wind was pushing a strong south east making it just fishable.
We trolled for two hours at Tugwell Island, and caught two small springs, about 8 and 10 pounds. Not huge, but absolutely the best tasting fresh fish of the year. Anytime we can eat fresh chinook or halibut on the grill is a great day, and I know we are very lucky to live in a place where we can do this.
We will be pulling the boat out of storage around the first week of May, so look for more posts as we head out to try our hand at some new hot spots.
