Customer Feedback

“I am equally impressed with the professional and efficient manner in which you were able to maneuver the boat, clear the lines and prep the boat to in order to land this massive fish. I didn‘t even realize the work that you were doing for my benefit until we had the fish netted and in the boat. To me, that is the best advertising for your business! Showing me how well you do your job speaks louder than anyone telling me how well they can do their job. Blackfeather Charters really knows their stuff.”

Salmon Assessment 2010

It looks like the we are going to have a great season on the Chinook salmon this year. I know we have been optimistic all along, but it is nice to see this officially!! Let the games begin!

"Salmon Commission Announces Ocean Abundance Levels

The Pacific Salmon Commission has completed its Chinook Model for 2010 and the results suggest that we have reason for cautious optimism this season. The model suggests that we will see an overall increase in pre-season ocean abundance compared to last year.

An indicator value of one is considered optimal, and the regional breakdown of pre-season chinook abundance are:

Northern BC: 2010 - 1.17 (up from 1.10 last year)
WCVI BC 2010 - 0.96 (up from 0.72 last year)"
