Customer Feedback

“I am equally impressed with the professional and efficient manner in which you were able to maneuver the boat, clear the lines and prep the boat to in order to land this massive fish. I didn‘t even realize the work that you were doing for my benefit until we had the fish netted and in the boat. To me, that is the best advertising for your business! Showing me how well you do your job speaks louder than anyone telling me how well they can do their job. Blackfeather Charters really knows their stuff.”

Halibut season 2010

The word has just come down that the halibut season which opened on Feb. 1, 2010, will have a slight reduction in fishing that resembles what happened last year.

The Ministry has decided that we are allowed one haibut per day, and a possession of two. This means that it will take two days of fishing to limit out on halibut this again summer.

Late into the season last year, we saw an increase from the 1/2 back to the 2/2 that we have traditionally fished. I hope they consider the same for this year, but for now, we are back to the same old game of one per day.
